- First and foremost, the Minus record is out and has been doing real good. We are flying through the first press and running out of limited vinyl. Expect the the 2nd press in a month or two. Minus hasn’t been wasting anytime themselves, they have another banger coming out on Triple B Records titled “Hard Feelings”. You can order the Minus “S/T/” 7″ and you can also pre order the new Minus record at: RevHQ.

Lots of new shit goin on over here at Flatspot Records…
- First and foremost, The New Morality/Deal With It – Split 7″ preorders are up. The preorders are goin to be limited to 50 hand-numbered records, so get yours while you can. This is the US pressing so we are only pressing 500. Whenever we sell out you can also pick up a copy of the European press from Demons Run Amok. This is another anger banger we are real hyped on. Between the artwork, that our boy Marco from the Icemen did, and the music itself makes this record the complete package. For all of our American friends, New Morality is plannin a US tour for 2010. Be sure to check that out.

- Flatspot alumni, Backtrack, have a new record, on 6131 Records, coming out this month. Their record release is going to be in New York on Sept. 25th. Title Fight, Cruel Hand, Incendiary, and Naysayer are on the bill. For more info check out their page. Be sure to pick up your copy of that record. We are also gettin close to our last copies of the “08 Demo”. The 2nd pressing we did of the “08 Demo” will also be the last pressing, so be sure to pick it up while you still can.

- Trapped Under Ice, another graduate from the school of Flatspot, also have their new record out on Reaper Records, titled “Secrets of the World”. Be sure to pick up that banger. We are pretty much sold out of the already classic “Demo 2007″. We are thinkin about doing one last final pressing of 100 on gold vinyl, to close that chapter in our book. We’ll keep you posted on the details as we get more information on the project.

- We are proud to announce that we will be releasing the US press for the NEW
MORALITY and DEAL WITH IT split 7″. Currently riding off their release
‘End Time Prophecies’. Dead and Gone Records’ alumni DEAL WITH IT are
one of United Kingdom’s hardest right now, with their Best Wishes-esque
style of core. NEW MORALITY is one of the best bands coming out of
the Netherlands. They are also currently pushin their Relfections
Records release ‘Fear of Nothing’. They will be touring Europe with No
Turning Back through April and May and they will be touring Europe again with
The Mongoloids during the summer. Everyone in Europe needs to check out
those tours coming up, if its not crack you getcha money back. NEW
MORALITY also has plans to tour the States sometime in the future,
possibly before the year ends.

- The BACKTRACK record is doing real good. We went through the first
press real fast, and the 2nd press will prolly go just as fast. 2nd
press is 100 on mixed color vinyl and 400 on black vinyl. Everyone
keeps askin us if we have any rare vinyl from BACKTRACK, but Im out of
all preorders and first press colors, sorry fellas. Pick up the 2nd
press while they’re still available. They also got a few shows coming
up with Pulling Teeth, Cruel Hand, Maximum Penalty, Bad Seed, Naysayer,
Trapped Under Ice, etc. etc. They also got added onto the Black N Blue
Bowl with Earth Crisis, Crown of Thornz, CroMags, Indecision, Killing

Backtrack 7″ Out Now

Lots of shit is going on around here. First and foremost the Backtrack record is out, and last night’s record release went real good, Long Island definitely repped their shit real hard. Shouts to Ricky, John Lopez, Vitalo, Mike, Dan and the Dog Pound Nation for showing love. It’s only been out for one day and we’ve only got half of the first press left. The rest of the first press will go fast so get your hands on it before they’re gone. If by any chance you miss the first press, we are going to repress the record sometime next month.
Thanks to everyone that preordered the Backtrack record. Everything is being mailed this week. European and Autrailian orders are getting shipped first, and everyone who ordered it in the US should be getting their orders sometime in the next week or two(depending on how far away your state is). Backtrack also has a Winter Tour coming up. Empire and Naysayer will be with them for some of the dates.

Its been a minute since we’ve done one of these, here it goes:
-First and foremost, the WHEELBITE cds are here, and they look and sound great. Couldn’t be any happier with the final result, well worth the wait. Thanks to everyone that pre-ordered a copy, you should be receiving the cd within the next few days. This release has everything to offer from the band, for any Wheelbite or Richmond hardcore lover, you don’t want to sleep on this release, this ones for you. Distros in Japan, Europe, Latin America and US are picking this up in the next few weeks, but if you still cant find it at a shop or distro around your way, just go straight to our webstore: www. flatspotrecords. com/catalog
-Next, we got the TRAPPED UNDER ICE 2nd pressing. If you’re the only kid on your block without this record, I suggest you pick one up before they’re gone, cause they’ve been selling like crack. For everyone asking me about tests, record releases, and color vinyl, I’m out of everything expect the 2nd pressing, good luck on your manhunt for the rare stuff. They have a new record coming out on Reaper Records properly titled “Stay Cold”. Be sure to pick up a copy when it comes out.
-We’ve been talking to a few bands for possible future releases. The next record is going to be crack. I don’t want to reveal anything just yet, but just know that you will not be disappointed. 2008 belongs to Flatspot.
