Formed in 2016, Influenced by the likes of Stigmata, All Out War, Dying Fetus, Merauder, Sepultura, and more, HANDS OF GOD has self-released a demo with several singles in its wake. The band delivers a call to action that if you turn a blind eye to the negativity in the world you are only lying to yourself; live to stand up for your convictions and crush anything in that path.
HANDS OF GOD draws members of a wide array of acts from across the region together, including former players in Bad Times Crew, current members of Vamachara, Gulch, Drain, Lead Dreams, and more. Rising from their collective surroundings and experiences, the members coalesce their talents in this outfit, delivering a pure hardcore band with a metallic outer shell. Energetic gang-chant vocals arise amidst a salvo of vocalized outcries, highlighting a variety of socio-political topics. Smoldering riffage fuels the mid-paced drive of the band’s sound, sporadic upbeat runs and crushing mega-breakdowns entering each song’s realm.
As the band’s brutalizing and vibrant sound takes root in the fertile current hardcore scene, Flatspot Records brings HANDS OF GOD in for the official release of their Blueprint For Self Destruction EP on vinyl and all digital platforms. Recorded and mixed at The Pit in Van Nuys, California by Taylor Young (Nails, Twitching Tongues) and mastered by Bill Henderson, and completed with artwork and design by Dom Pabon, the record will now see release as a one-sided 12” EP with a silkscreened B-side.
